Delete My Account

Last updated: September 26, 2026

Account deletion in NutriPlan is fully self-service, right from the app — no request form, no waiting period, and no need to contact anyone. Follow the steps below.

Delete your account (takes under a minute)

1 Open NutriPlan and sign in

Don't have the app anymore? It's free — reinstall it from Google Play and sign in with the account you want to delete. Your data is still there; you don't need to set anything up again.

2 Go to Settings

Tap the Settings tab in the bottom navigation bar.

3 Tap "Delete account"

Scroll to the bottom of Settings and tap Delete account. Confirm when prompted. If you signed in a while ago, the app may ask you to log out and log back in first — this is a Firebase security check to make sure only you can delete your own account, not a separate step you need to plan for.

Your account and data are deleted immediately once confirmed — there is no waiting period and nothing further to do.

What gets deleted

Deleted

  • Your account and login credentials
  • Your profile (name, age, sex, height, weight, activity level)
  • Your selected condition(s)
  • Your preferences (dislikes, allergies, custom calorie target)
  • Your active plan and any meal swaps or custom-built plan
  • Your food log entries
  • Your CKD lab entries (dialysis status, albumin readings), if entered

Not affected

  • Shared reference content you never modified (the food database, condition profiles, weekly templates) — this isn't your personal data
  • Aggregated, de-identified usage data that cannot be traced back to you, which we may retain for product improvement
  • Residual copies in encrypted backups, which are cycled out over time rather than deleted instantly, per our Privacy Policy

For the full detail on how we handle your data before deletion, see our Privacy Policy.
